CardDAV and Windows Phone

Has anyone successfully got their Windows Phone to synchronise with their Fastmail contacts (or calendar for that matter)?

I know there are a few posts regarding WP in the CardDAV thread, but that thread has got so long and I can't find the right posts.

Also, I'm not that interested in work arounds, for example I've seen a suggestion that I can synchronise my Live calendar with my Fastmail calendar, but I'd prefer a direct solution.

I've tried setting up an iCloud account and entering the Fastmail Cal/CardDAV complete URLs, but I get the error 80190194 for both CalDAV and CardDAV (apparently a 404). When I visit the CalDAV URL in a browser I am able to log in and download my calendar, however when I visit the CardDAV URL I am repeatedly asked for my username and password.

Note that if you're trying to get CardDAV working yourself you have to register for the beta.

Keep me recommended for a solution. So far never found a third party app.

This post recommends memotoo, which apparently costs $12/year, but I haven't tried it.

I tried and finally gave up using FastMail as I won't give up Windows phone just to use FastMail. Maybe Windows Phone 10 will have non-Google caldav/carddav sync built in.

Still use it, but like you, I prefer a direct solution.
