Web Hosting Server Problems

We are currently experiencing problems with the web hosting server. The support group at the server center is currently looking into the problem. At this time we do not know the nature of the problem or how long it will take to fix.

Regards,
Rich

It appears to be a database-related problem -- they're working on it now.

This issue also affects our support ticket system which is currently unavailable.

We are still experiencing problems with the web hosting server and the Runbox Support web site.

At this time we do not have an estimate of when the problem will be resolved.

Rich

The problem is caused by a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack. We are working to filter some of the excess traffic to restore access.

Have you contemplated null routing traffic from the source of the DDOS?

Website loading is still slow and a bit hit and miss. Sometimes loads other times won't. Should I assume that the attack is still ongoing as I write?

Is there any further news on the Denial of Service attack? Can you tell which website the DDos is targeting or where the majority of the requests originate from?

Thanks
Max
