RTL using Android
When I compose a new message using my desktop computer I have no problem creating a RTL message.
Can this be done also while using an Android device? Thanks, Oded. |

If you do not get an answer on this forum, I suggest you raise a support ticket on the issue. I have not had a need to test RTL languages on Android, but I understand it is easy for an App to support this starting with Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).

Did you mean RTL (Register-Transfer Level) or RTF (Rich Text Format)?

I have installed Fastmail's mobile application on my mobile device and unlike my desktop computer it doesn't let me create Right To Left messages (unless I'm missing something...). Hebrew, which is my native language is written from Right To Left. Thank you. |

I agree with BritTim that you should file a support ticket.
I was pretty sure it wasn’t Resistor-Transistor Logic. I had not heard the abbreviations RTL or LTR for writing direction. It can be confusing dealing with TLA (Three Letter Acronyms). Bill |

Oded, have you found an Android mail client that supports RTL?

This is still an issue with the new Android app. Quite annoying to have this limitation in a paid service when free services (like gmail) properly support RTL-emails...
