Issue in the file manager

Just noticed that whenever I move a file or create a folder, it uploads an empty file called "upload" in the current directory. So now I have lots of them :roll eyes:

FM staff, could you please look at this (not really urgent yet very annoying) issue?

Cheers

Well that's a new bug and I confirm it! I will alert Fastmail staff.

Arrow Fix on the way

Fastmail has a fix for this bug on beta and it should be on production after a while. Thanks for noticing it first!

Thanks. Well I guess no one reported here before because the vast majority of people use FTP/DAV to access their files. However, I think FastMail should also work on the Files UI to make it consistent with the rest, perhaps after we get CardDav...

I use the Files menu pretty often, but I don't create or delete a subfolder or move or copy or delete a file every day. All of those actions create the spurious file The bug must have been recently introduced.
