www & imap down
I've been trying to connect to the server for last 15 minutes but it seems to be down. I can ping it (both www.fastmail.fm and mail.messagingengine.com), but neither http nor imap work. Another unexpected outage? To be honest, I'm getting tired if this.

Thx, I hope it'll be fixed soon. I'll be looking for another service anyway...

This could be the first big test of the replicated system (the first that I'm aware of anyway).
Edit: Back up already for me. I hope an FM staff tells us if they went to the replicated server or worked out the problem without needing to. Last edited by anotherJeremy : 21 Dec 2006 at 04:04 PM. |

Despite the update... I still can't access fastmail. The homepage won't even load.

Hi kander,
Not that this helps you but I can get into 4 different accounts and all are working in OE and also the login page. I didn't check what "stores" each account is on. Do you know the store yours is on and I can see if one of mine are on it? Sherry |

Hmm.. odd. Not sure what store my account is on at the moment, but since I can't even get into the web interface, I'm wonder if that's even relevant at the moment.
It's good to hear others can get in - maybe it's my own connection.. Update: Working now... switched from FF to Opera and lo-and-behold, it works. Guess FF must remember the server was unreachable or something. --K |

Glad to hear it's working for you. Now others will know it may be a temporary cache problem with FF and try another browser (or just clear the cache)?
