cannot make new file
Since the buy-out, which I presume has caused the problem, I cannot make a new file to store certain email in.... I want to archive a group of emails, but no matter how often I try, my new file list/archive is NOT created.
Has anyone else had the same problem? What does Fastmail advise that I do? |

Welcome to the EMD Forums, urgetoo!
The purchase of Fastmail by Opera did not change any of the features. They should work just as before. For example, I just tested the methods below, and they work just as they did months ago.Are you using your Internet browser (such as Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or Safari) to access the Fastmail online website to read your mail, or are you using a local email client (such as Thunderbird or Outlook or Windows Mail)? If you are using the Fastmail online website and want to make a local archive on your PC containing certain messages, there are a couple of methods you can use:
Another method of creating a local backup is the free IMAPsize tool, which can perform incremental IMAP backups. Bill |
