Automatically forwarded was set up in Outlook, how can I stop it from Hotmail?

hi, my home emails (Hotmail) were automatically forwarded to my work email (Outlook). This was set up from my work email (Outlook) but now I'm not working at that company anymore and would like to stop my home emails to go to my work emails.

You can't set up forwarding from a recipient email address--you have to set up forwarding from the address the emails are being sent from.

Hotmail is no more, but since Hotmail is now Outlook.com you should be able to login to your own Hotmail account by going to outlook.com, using your email address as the username, and your password. Then go to Settings/Forwarding. You can just turn off forwarding there.

If it was set up from the work account, it logging into your personal account and using POP3 to download email. Just change your password.
