Method detect spoof sites
To know if the site you visits such as the banking sites or webmail sites are the real thing, type in this and it will reveal if you are at the real location. Not sure if it works but it got good review. This tip taken from lockergnome.
javascript:alert("The real URL of this site is: " + location.protocol + "//" + location.hostname + "/"); |

type it in the address bar or add it as a favorite and open the favorite
to add it as a favorite, create a new shortcut, and type the code as it's target; then drag-and-drop into the favorites menu I have a similar javascript "add to favorites" favorite |
