Reorder old, read conversation

Can’t find a specific answer for this so hope I’ve not just missed it.

Using the iOS app, is there a way to order a conversation so the last message is displayed at the top? I’m currently finding that when I revisit an old conversation (with no unread messages), the list displays with the oldest first, and they’re all expanded. I then cannot collapse the messages en made, nor reverse the order. Therefore I’m having to scroll all the way to the bottom to revisit the latest message and reply to it.
