Need to Receive Outlook Email to Desktop
Am running Windows 10. Have new PC so setting up email again.
Its been so long since I did it I forgot. It used to be Windows Mail, then it changed to Outlook but I was still able to receive my emails to my pc. Just want to know how to do it again. When clicking on the mail icon in my tray, it keeps asking me to sign in but when I sign in it says an account already exists under that name? I'm confused. |

Perhaps the account that "already exists under that name" is your account?
Maybe the attempt to sign-in is failing because you're using the wrong password? If, for example, you previously had passwords remembered for you by your browser, maybe the new machine doesn't know what value to use? |

It's normal for email clients not to fetch images (or css or javascripts or anything else) that are stored on remote servers, because doing so alerts the owner of that server that you viewed the email. (The location of such files is very often unique to you.) Images which are supplied inline in an email (ie somewhat like an attachment) probably will be displayed automatically, because there's no security/privacy concern for you in doing so. |
