Looking for a simple, cheap email provider. Read more inside!

Hey there. I am currently a fastmail user but I find them to be more expensive than what I can afford right now. As such, I am looking for an email provider with the following characteristics:

- Paid (I don't want a free provider);
- Cheap;
- Supports 2FA;
- App passwords (like fastmail has, for imap and all that);
- Non-USA based (preferably Europe);
- Supports using own domains;
- Supports many aliases (more than 50) (or catch-all);
- Supports IMAP (so no protonmail or tutanota or the likes);
- No google stuff in their webpage whatsoever;
- Small(ish) provider, privacy oriented;

None of the following fits me:
- Soverin (no 2fa for imap), tutanota, protonmail. mailbox, posteo, mxroute, fastmail, runbox, purelymail, iroute, migadu

Please let me know of more providers so I can check them..

my first suggestion is gandi.net, which i have been using with for long days, works just right.
the second suggestion is inbox.eu, which has 20gb storage, the webmail is clean and fast, smtp/imap works well too.

the #1 is about 15 usd per year for domain registration price on them, 2 mailboxes included.
the #2 is 12 eur per year, just for mailbox cost.

Hey jeff, thanks for replying. I've added a new condition:

- No google stuff in their webpage whatsoever;
- Small(ish) provider, privacy oriented;

Inbox.eu has googletagmanager and seems like it's not a smallish provider. Something like mxroute, soverin, migadu, but that fits my conditions. Soverin comes close, but their 2FA is insecure. Runbox seems to tick all the boxes, other than being a tad too expensive.

I am looking to the same as the OP. Don't like the new Runbox7 at all after being a long time subscriber. Also would need an easy way to migrate old emails.

"Please let me know of more providers so I can check them.."

no more providers that will fit all your needs for 0.5$/month.

Where did I state I wanted a provider for that amount? Straw man much, don't you? You consistently post crap on this forum, just leave already, your content won't be missed.

In your search, it may be important to note that the IMAP protocol does not support two-factor authentication.

Since fastmail's $50/year is too expensive, that eliminates almost everyone. Outlook.com premium is gone. Zoho has a $1/month plan.

What I mean is what fastmail and runbox do. The ability to create an IMAP only password, or disable IMAP altogether.

I doubt many are going to know whether or not "Google stuff" is in the webpages of commercial email providers, and even if it isn't chances are very good you will be tracked by Google and Facebook one way or another. In any case, your requirements are so specific and impossible for most of us to know that the question is more a request for free research and investigation. IMHO the focus needs to be on a service that is secure, reliable and provides the services you need for a price you are willing to pay. Many smaller providers might meet the price, but often not the security and reliability aspect.

I've been using inbox eu for several months and it showed great results. Pretty cheap but I don't know if it has all the options you asked for in your post. The great advantage of it is the possibility to use VPN during work. Some e-mail providers sometimes block using VPN which is pretty dumb, IMHO. I personally use VPN almost all the time when I'm lurking on the web, so it's essential for me. Yesterday, I discovered a detailed VyprVPN review that successfully explained to me all the advantages and disadvantages of their services. Well, I'm probably gonna choose between this VPN and NordVPN soon.
