Take a shortcut

This should be easy but I'm at a loss to figure out how to put a shortcut to my inbox on my desktop. Can someone explain, please?

By "shortcut" do you mean a link (url) on your desktop to your FM inbox webpage page? If so, display your FM inbox in your browser and drag it's favicon (the icon to the left of the url in the browser's url/location bar) to your desktop. At least that's the way it would work on a Mac.

I have the "Stay Logged In" option on the login screen checked, and when I goto https://www.fastmail.com, my email gets loaded directly. If I was to logout (instead of just closing the tab like I usually do) of that email session, going to that URL would bring me to Fastmails' homepage instead.

I have the "Stay Logged In" option checked but when I close the tab to the inbox that Win 10 creates when I open Fastmail via the internet I have nothing on the desktop to click on to reopen it.

Make a browser bookmark for Fastmail. Drag that bookmark to the desktop.

I don't know why I never thought of just using the inbox URL (minus the numbers) displayed while the inbox is open and create a shortcut on the desktop right where I wanted it to be. Open its properties, change its icon to something suitable and I'm set.

Thank You!!
