Excite.com's uncertain future

Excite.com's email service users might want to get prepared: Excite has filed for bankruptcy. AT&T is buying its broadband business, but NOT excite.com, and there's no prospective buyer for excite.com in the picture "yet".

Sorry to hear about Excite's impending demise. Although I've never used their e-mail service, I do enjoying visiting their site as there's a lot of fun stuff there. I'll definitely miss participating in their daily opinion poll. Hope Excite can still be salvaged.
