Calendar Timezones
How can I delete a timezone from the calendar dropdown.
I imported my calendar from GCal and was defaulted Asia/Nicosia which is also offered as a menu choice. Nicosia is the captoal of Cyprus in the European Union! I also have a menu choice for Europe/Nicosia, which I have selected, but I cannot find a way to delete Asia/Nicosia. Can I rid myself of that error? Fastmail Team - please note the politics of this! The only two timezones I want are Europe/Nicosia and Europe London. |

Who would have thought that Greece versus Turkey politics could become an issue for Fastmail!
I suspect you are going to need help from a developer to achieve this, as it will likely need the raw data to be altered. Submit a support request, stressing the emotive nature of the issue, and see if they are willing to help. |

If I turn off Timezone features in GCal and export to Fastmail Cal I loose any default timezone - initially I only see the Floating Time option in Fastmail Cal.
Geopolitics aside there are some programming issues that need tidying up. Last edited by labarum : 16 Apr 2015 at 12:02 AM. |

Ah, but as soon as I link to any public calendars, they all muscle in and insert their preferred timezone which is still displayed in the dropdown even if I remove the ics link.
