server down?

It is March 11, 12:30pm MST (which is -7 GMT).

I've been having a difficult time accessing IMAP all morning (though the SMTP server seems to be running fine).

I finally went to do a webmail login, and got this:
Code:
500 Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

If the error persists, please email the information below to the server administrator at webmaster@runbox.com, and include details about anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) Debian GNU/Linux mod_ssl/2.8.9 OpenSSL/0.9.6c mod_perl/1.26 Server at secure.runbox.com Port 443

Yes, I get the same message. It is difficult running my business with such an unreliable email service. Runbox consistently has problems, and promises are made to fix things, and I never see any improvement.

Same problem here. Service has been erratic for a day or two, tho since the coincided with my using IMAP access for the first time, I thought it was something with my software... And now I can't open emails at all!

I'm seeing if they know about it yet or not.

slowness

Well, IMAP is no longer timing out on me... it's back to its regular slowness.

BTW: Whatever happened to the new imap server?

These problems are related to the current IMAP server intermittently consuming too many resources, affecting the service overall. Once the new server is ready (hopefully next week), general performance should be very good all the time, not just most of the time.

Uh... Service is "good most of the time" now? News to me.

...

I'd really hate to see what you guys consider bad service.
