flickr sign in

Starting March 25, flickr now requires the 'old skool' members to sign in with their yahoo accounts.

I haven't done the migration process yet and I'm a freebie user.
Anyone here who's done the merging? My question is, if you merge your flickr account with your current yahoo account, will a link to your flickr pictures appear in yahoo 360 or will it be searchable?

If you go paid, do you have an option of maintaining a non-yahoo account?

Thanks.
