Usual ports and SSL (IMAP ==> 993/SSL, smtp ==> 465/SSL)?

What about POP (pop.memail.com/995/SSL??)?

And where on their site did you find those server names? Or is that info just what populated your email client(s) when you told them to configure from their service?

So after many months since this one was announced, I assume several forum members have been trying this provider for half a year now.

What are your impressions?

Is it reliable and stable?
Satisfied overall with the service?

That’s odd, how long was it open? I’m just wondering if you didn’t use it they closed it due to inactivity?

Mind you a very good fast system which is excellent to see.

Better to stick with established providers who have been around a while.

I generally agree, but MeMail does have a couple of tempting domains. I am from the city of Gent, that @gent.email domain is tempting to say the least. But only if the service were reliable.

So everybody can sign up a desired account there.
I've noticed on their website, where it says unique email addresses, there is an image called professions, and one of the suggested domains is:

tripemail.com

That made me smile, as I saw it as tripe-mail, and not trip-email!

I suppose that domain could be useful if your profession is a butcher!

Gmail, anyone?

I had actually dropped me mail a message saying they should get a rep here, but nothing has happened.

Perhaps best they stay away.

I can confirm that they suspend/close accounts without explanation, even paid accounts.

Memail.com are best avoided.
