Account up for renewal - Euros or Dollars?
An account I pay for is coming up for renewal however I'm not sure how much it will cost. That may not make sense but let me explain...
I'm from the UK and deal in GBP but the renewal payment info direct from the account page gives the prices in Euros. The main site has the price plans in USD. The Help wiki confirms these prices. If I use an exchange rate website to see how much it costs for me they don't equal the same amount and give me reason to question which I'll be charged. 1 year - 39.95 Euro = 31.69 GBP 3 years - 95.95 Euro = 76.13 GBP 1 year - 49.95 USD = 25.00 GBP 3 years - 119.95 USD = 60.03 GBP If I get charged in Euros there is enough of a difference that I will only renew for 1 year, however if it's in USDs then I will end up taking advantage of the 3 year option. It was quite a surprise to see the Euro pricing structure at all (the last time I wanted to renew it was only in USD I'm sure). Any clarification would be most appreciated. |

The posted rates were set at a time when exchange rates were different so there is a difference depending on the currency. When renewing, your account will be billed based on what appears on the payment page (using the stated amount for the stated currency).

There is a third option: A special renewal offer we're giving to long-time customers this summer. - Geir |

I'm pretty sure the payment page is https://secure.runbox.com/payment
You need to be logged in to select products and doc.runbox.com is not a user login page. Regards, Rich |
