Gosh, I wish I could think of a good sentence to use the word BUYS in like maybe, since we're talking about Christmas, I could say that $20 sure BUYS a lot less than it used to... Oh well, maybe someone will change the word so I can quit thinking about it now.

All the little GUYS and gals are anxiously waiting for Santa/Father Christmas to come and bring them all the lovely things that they have asked for on their letters to Santa.
(Whilst the parents are constantly checking the flyers for all the best deals, and scurrying around the shops buying the items; and then trying to find good hiding places for them when they get them home!!) |

Yes; some people certainly do spend LOTS of money over the Christmas season, not only on gifts, but also on food, entertaining, and partying.
