Posteo Login Problems

So, we're off to a rough start.
I just purchased an account yesterday and it doesn't work for an hour or so now. I can't login to my mail, but even if i do, it's painfully slow and can't send mail. Can't say it's a nice feeling after such a short time of usage...

Don't know where you are and a few hours have passed, but my account is working OK - no problems here from UK.

It seemed to be a problem for an hour or so, and they reported it fixed.

Otherwise Fred, since you seem to use it, how do you like it? Does it seem stable and reliable? And is it good at spam-interception?

Thanks!

Signed up a couple of weeks back, not using it for a primary account - just seeing how it works for me.

I like the 2FA option with IMAP disabled (webmail access only) and it's working perfectly.

No spam received yet.

Update: Just checked posteo.de on Twitter - log-in problems reported/cured a few hours ago.

I have a question, since you accept the .de domain, why not just sign up a web.de free account?
they have same or similar privacy policy IMO.

Because of the company philosophy also, i like the whole sustainability story.

Quite a few months have passed now, and my experience with Posteo has been excellent.

I like the fact that it's local (EU) for me, and the 2FA just works!

The same for me here. I stopped looking for another email provider, Posteo works very well and with a great security. I am only using it in my browser, with Dane extension, Mailvelope to use pgp, 2FA working without failures, imap/pop deactivated and as you say: excellent!
