Reposition Saved Search
Is there a way to reposition a saved search in the folder list?
At the moment, my global saved searches (ie searches that operate across all mail) are all listed at the bottom of my folder list (which is quite a long list), so they are not that convenient to get to. I'd like to be able to relocate some of those saved searches to near the top of my folder list. Is that possible? |

Here is how you place saved global searches near the top were they are easy to find. This works very well if you are using labels mode, but this trick might be of some help even if you are using folders mode.
By the way, I just noticed in Fastmail help some search features which I had never noticed. Either I had missed them before, or they are new:

Wow that's quite a workaround.
But thanks Bill, that will do what I was after. I have another thread on this, but if I swap to Labels and then swap back to Folders, will my folders be in the same order as before swapping to Labels? Edit.... Curiously - I found that I did not have to swap the Labels to achieve the result described. I just made the search within Archive and saved it. It saved as a "child" of the Archive folder. When later activating that search, the search was made in the Archive folder, but the "All Mail" radio button was there to be selected as an option.
