I'm with you on that, Bamb0 ! I really want to see the perpetrator caught and dealt with. This should not be happening without the consequences that are deserved.

They should be treated like horse thieves were dealt with on the wild west.
However this is not going to happen, because it is practically impossible to find them, and those that can be found are located in countries that encourage their activity.
Today I read that US authorities managed to recover some of the ransom that was paid by Colonial Pipeline. Nobody's going to invest that effort on DDOS attacks on some minor email services.

The SMTP server and the company homepage both seem to be down right now. It's about noon where I am, and I've been having trouble with SMTP since last night.
