Help with IMAP settings for WM5 device

OK, I must not be setting it up correctly. I can collect my email fine, but it will not let me send or reply, and furthermore when I resync, the emails I've deleted on my handheld don't delete on the server. The last two are probably related: I am only receiving emails/folders, but not sending emails or folder updates. Am pretty sure the issue is related to me not entering a 'Domain' which I think is for the outgoing email server; see last few lines.

Device: HTC TyTN (Hermes), WM5. Yes, I am lucky that way. Cingular is the provider.
Settings on the HTC WM5 IMAP setup on the setup screens on the TyTN:

Screen 1: I entered my proper email address
Screen 2: I entered my proper name, username, password, and select the save password box.
Screen 3: IMAP4 is selected for Account type and Name
Screen 4:
Incoming mail: imap.runbox.com
Ougoing mail: smtp.runbox.com
Domain: BLANK! This may be the problem here, as the runbox help page doesn't tell you to put anything here. I THINK this is where one enters the 'domain of the outgoing e-mail server.' Is that a runbox item, or do I get that from Cingular, or what?

Thanks for any help in advance,

Ken

You have to enable SMTP Authentification.

[X] Outgoing server requires authentification.

Domain is not required.

OK, I checked the SMTP Authorization, but that didn't do it either. When I try to send a message, I still get the error message popping up:

"The message(s) could not be sent. Check that you have network coveragge and that your account information is correct. Then try sending again."

So, still no love. Any other suggestions?

Try un-ticking outgoing server requires authentication. I don't have it ticked for any of my accounts.

The SMTP server of Runbox REQUIRES authentification!
If you can send e-mails to non runbox addresses without using smtp authentification then the smtp server is broken! My tests shows that's not the case (error: 550 relay not permitted).
