Will raising the registration threshold eliminate irrelevant advertising?

I know that they say "a picture is worth a thousand words", but maybe a few words?

This requires a discussion between Edwin and the remaining active moderators, but these things do take time.

Fine Question! Two things to notice after several months of membership:
(1) Low frequency of posts, although mostly regular
(2) A few too many nonsense spam posts

If not enough people are interested in online discussions/on forums about email, then not much can be done.

Does the administrative or moderator workload availability allow for the first five posts of all new members to be examined by a human before allowing to be published?

I don't see the spam here as a frequent. More like every now and then.

At least four per month but I make no records of my "reports" to document.

It's all relative - it depends when and how often you visit the forum.

For what I see, a day without any spam on the forum is rare - usually 2 or 3 per day.

Thankfully or we would need more active staff.......

I think the 3 who are active are doing a wonderful job. Edwin doesnt have anything to worry about

For example: some bulletin boards do not allow posting links unless the poster has at least (say) 10 posts.
