Yes. When in the Inbox, click on Logout. Next time you will get the home page.

Or go to one of the other domains, e.g. http://www.sent.com.

hi,
now that your login problem has actually been solved by other helpful posters, you might be entertained by one of these alternate FastMail login pages: https://www.fastmail.fm/mail/login/?...reen=tiny.html (I have this one bookmarked as my prefered FastMail login page) Also, a bit less minimal: http://www.fastmail.fm/mail/login/?S...een=basic.html Just found these today while looking through the FastMail wiki .... |

None AFAIK (you can remove "login/" and use a shorter domain name, but that's all) - but I think it's a good idea to add them.

There was some discussion about using subdomain addresses like 'login.fastmail.fm' or 'quick.fastmail.fm' for these login screens, but for some reason nothing was done with that.

^ It wouldn't work unless FM configures their server to respond to that domain name.

This may be a bit of a hack, but seems to work okay for me -
create an index.html page with the following code: Quote:
I'll leave this up for a while in case anyone wants to try it out at http://tinytest.fastmail.fm (but will probably take it down eventually if it eats up too much bandwidth quota). Would it be as easy for FastMail to setup an official version for this or are there potential complications? Also - another (better?) way to do this would be via an .htaccess file: Quote:
I think either of these methods should work with any domain name though - was just convenient for me to use FastMail webspace. (I'll have to test it out with a domain outside of their namespace to confirm this at some point.) The important thing is, anyone who has a FastMail account that allows access to file storage / web space and an alias to spare could setup their own custom subdomain pointing to the tiny login page if they are so inclined. EDIT: confirmed both these methods work with non-FastMail domains. (Sorry, but I don't have any cool email domain name to donate for this ...). Should note that the ".htaccess" method assumes using Apache webserver, and that the "/" directory specified in the code should be changed to whatever specific directory name you want to devote to the login page: ie, change this to "/mail" to setup redirection for "example.com/mail". Also be aware some (very old, and maybe very new?) browsers may not handle these redirect / refresh hacks. Last edited by FMradio : 10 Jan 2005 at 04:51 PM. |

(I refrained from registering catchier "login" aliases in case FastMail might actually want to use any of them for a more official implementation ....) Last edited by FMradio : 11 Jan 2005 at 06:22 AM. |
