An Email Client.

I have to choose between 2 email clients:

1.) INCREDIMAIL - It looks and operated much nicer than any other client.

2.) THUNDERBIRD - Has a better reputation in terms of not "planting" spywares, but is less flexible in terms of graphical possibilities.

Which one should I use - when a major important factor is the ability of leaving all correspondence's history in the original mail service's servers?

Just be aware, Thunderbird has many themes available at http://addons.mozilla.org

I have never used Incredimail, but I have used Thunderbird and would recommend it highly

I hate incredimail...

I would use thunderbird.

At the end, go with what you like. I'm sure some people here like incredimail...

Do you mean IMAP? If so Thunderbird would be a much better choice. Incredimail's IMAP support is very basic.

Isn't Incredimail more of a childrens' client?

I tried it a couple of times over the years and found it horrid. I remember uninstalling it was a problem too.

Tbird, SeaMonkey, Opera, Pegasus, Foxmail, and Komamail work well.

If these are the only choices I would without question go with Thunderbird.

As for Incredimail, RUN, as far as you can. I installed it once not to long ago. In my opinion it is the worst client in existence. I set it up with one account, checked it out and promptly removed it from my system. Just looking at the web site should tell you what sort of client it is. Shortly after I removed it, I started getting Incredimail reminder messages to that account I tested with. It seems without my permission it sent that address off to Incredimail. To give them credit, after two tries I was able to opt out of them... so far I have not received any Incredimail message for about a month now.

Incredimail does give the impression you have a Fisher-Price computer. Aside from that though Incredimail produces emails that look very spammy, especially now that spammers are using a lot of images to convey their message. It's best avoided for anything important.

I once read that the creator of Incredimail loved the e-mail client Tom Cruise used in Mission: Impossible and when he found out it was a movie prop, decided to create a client which looked like that.

All show and no go, that's my experience with Incredimail.

LOL, if it can't connect to a server does it display:

Access
Denied

Like most software seems to do in films.
