Great band! I've seen them live in Ancienne Belgique, Brussels, and it was eeriely precise how well they played those Beatles songs, how much they were close to the originals. Which is a huge achievement, as they generally play the more complex songs and the albums that the Beatles themselves never performed live. Also, a nice change for a tribute band, these guys don't bother to look like the band or so, they just focus on the music, and --very interesting-- explain the origins of the songs, where the Beatles got their inspiration from, how the recording process went, ...

Ultravox - "Vienna"

Timeless classic I tried this in karaoke, the chorus is a really tough one.

Nice video as well, even though only the outside images are shot in Vienna. The images of the party in that mansion were shot in the UK.

I was at this gig in 2005 and it was one of the best I have ever been to. I am not really a Robbie Williams fan but the show he gave was amazing and he always delivers for his fans:

Keep strong. The good days will return again and I can't wait for the celebrations.

I thought I'd list the concerts I've attended over the years; as I'm probably a bit older than some here on the forum, I apologise in advance for boring you!

In A-Z order, because I'm not sure of dates:

AC/DC - Bon Scott era
Bachman Turner Overdrive - great stage show
Baker Gurvitz Army - Ginger Baker, Adrian Gurvitz
Be Bop Deluxe - Bill Nelson
Caravan - My first ever concert, not a fan but went with a friend - LOUD!
GB Leighton - My one and only concert visit in the USA, in Minneapolis in 2001 - great band!
Mahavashnu Orchestra - John McLaughlin
Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush - Jaw dropping guitar playing from Frank!
Mott the Hoople - they were supported by Queen!
Santana - superb sound balance
Robin Trower - James Dewar era
UFO - Michael Schenker era

Warner Brothers Roadshow in 1974, with:
*Bonaroo - I'd never heard of them before, but a big fan from then on, in later years I was pleased to have an e-mail exchange with their guitarist/singer/composer - Bobby Winkelman
*Graham Central Station - Larry Graham
*Doobie Brothers - They were top of the bill that night, and for an encore they wheeled on a grand piano, and then Elton John appeared to complete the night! Unfortunately, due to the very late finish of the show I had missed the last bus and had no money for a taxi, so I had to walk home!

West Bruce & Laing - Leslie West, Jack Bruce, Corky Laing

I may remember others - if I do you'll be the first to know!

Benny Friedman - "Yesh tikva"

A Jewish song praising God, set to eurodance-esque synth beats. This is so catchy!

The Family - "Nothing compares 2 U"

The best version of the song I've heard so far. The band were protegées of Prince, who wrote and donated the song to them. This was long before Sinéad O'Connor covered the song. St Paul on lead vocals.

Bryan Ferry - "Hiroshima"

Still wonder what the song is about, the lyrics are very vague and abstract. Great song though.
