The log-in still kicking me out every time it goes to a new page

I pretty much stopped posting because this has become so impossible. To post a one-sentence reply just now, I had to log-in over and over, about a half-dozen times. I've tried different computers. I've tried different browsers. Nothing helps.

So what's going on? I'll probably have to log-in a few more times to get this posted now.

I'd posted about this problem once or twice before, and this is the ONLY useful suggestion I've had. Other people just shrugged it off. The "Remember me" is working - but, still, I wonder why after years of no problem, this was suddenly happening. I'm using this while travelling, with public computers, and I was taught never, never to check "Remember me."

Thanks!

I'm sure you already know this, but I'll say it anyway. If you do tick the Remember Me checkbox while using a public computer, make sure to click the Log Out link when your done with the session.

Log-in works fine (for me) if I do it using the boxes at the top right of the screen, /before/ trying to write a reply or make a new post.

If instead you try to post a reply, without first logging-in, the page that is presented inviting you to login has the unticked "remember me" problem.
