music play program

Morning there used to be a music site called LimeWire. that was really easy to use. I know it is no longer going ,but my question is ,is there another one similar to it.
I have Windows media player but I can't fathom that out .I want to be able to download my own music as well as music off the site.

Music Play Program

There is Frostwire, which is an open source version of the original Limewire. It doesn't use Gnutella, but uses bittorrent instead...

Most songs are on YouTube these days, but other alternatives are grooveshark.com, soundcloud.com, ReverbNation, and bandcamp.com

All streaming music sites, all free (but with the option to purchase the song legally through an option somewhere on the page)

Limewire by the way had a reputation for viruses as far as I can remember. Haven't used it in ages. I listen to music all the time while using internet, but mostly YouTube (or Grooveshark) or just the oldfashioned putting a CD in your CD player Oldfashioned but still very efficient

MP3Rocket beta is a “time-shifting tool” that so far harnesses the music selection of YouTube to deliver “even faster” MP3 downloads. It has an easy to use user interface that lets you search through existing videos for conversion to an MP3 download.
