Downloading web-based email messages en masse
I have been notified that my USWESTMAIL.NET service is being shut down on June 21, 2002. I have 3 megs or upwards of a thousand messages which I hope to save. The service apparently does allow some sort of POP retrieval or gathering of other accounts into it, but I am seeing no indication of a provision for retrieving mail FROM it (using another e-mail service, Outlook Express, or whatever). Could there still be some way of downloading these messages *en masse*? Are there standard pieces of information that can be typed in to Outlook Express that can cause this to happen? (I tried mail.uswestmail.net.) Or, are there any neat third party programs that can accomplish this massive task for me, that would work with this particular e-mail service? (I have tried ePrompter, without success.) I would be grateful for any ideas - I cannot possibly download or print each message individually with the time I have left.
