Exactly the same here
Use Pobox since 2001 and Fastmail since day 1

Also looks like Luxsci has hiked its prices ridiculously high ~240$ for 1 user account. They've lost the plot.

May even be worth adding office 365 email to the list as they seem to have really improved.

Fastmail seems to be deteriorating.
This all depends on what you buy. The introductory price is $10/mo total for 10 users at 50GB of disk space. We try to make all of our price minimums at or around $10/mo. Here is the link to this example 10-user package:

  • Any discount for yearly cost? for example, 100 USD per year.
  • Is there a mobile APP for iOS?
  • Is there a groups setup?

TKS.

Yes,

You can pre-pay for 1 or more years and save $20/yr. See the "Pre-pay" option in the order tool. E.g. in this saved link it is $100 for 1 year.

http://luxsci.com/saved-order.php/04323-20211

For iOS and Android:

1. You can use any email App that supports IMAP, SMTP, or POP
2. You can use any app or the native app with Exchange ActiveSync support (if you get our mobile sync option)
3. We have an App for SecureChat if you opt for that option

There really is not a strong need for a separate LuxSci-specific email app.

* We have various options with respect to groups, aliases, collaboration, etc. If you can be a little more specific with what you are looking for with respect to "groups setup," I can provide some specific direction.

Another two questions,
Hello,

ActiveSync is $2.50/user/month. It will sync: email, contacts, calendars, tasks, and notes. A description of the service is here:

https://testluxsci.com/extranet/mobile_sync.html

With respect to groups, this is supported in WebMail by our address books. You can have one address book entry where the "email address" is a comma-delimited list of many recipients. When you select this address book entry in the WebMail email composer, all of these recipients are automatically added to your message.

On the flip side, you can create email aliases for inbound email distribution. E.g. if you have foo.com with LuxSci, you can setup any address @foo.com and have that forward email to a distribution list of recipients in foo.com and/or in arbitrary other domains (like gmail). This is very easy to configure via our administrative web interface and also via our API.

Thank you. And, if I have the domain foo.com, can the DNS be hosted by you?

Absolutely. You can do the DNS your send or have us do the DNS and/or the registration. You can choose which you would like when you add your domain in the order tool.

DNS is handled through our very long time partner easyDNS ... so you will get some pretty powerful stuff including DNS DDoS mitigation, Anycast, etc. But we'll take care of all that for you.

No problem.

* If you get a dedicated server and web hosting, we include DNS free for your domain.

* Otherwise, DNS is $1/mo/domain -- LuxSci accounts can have any number of domains with any combination of self-managed and LuxSci-managed DNS and registration.

oK I have got all the details I needed. Thanks for the info. I will take time to try your service for one of our commercial domains.

I do think you should have a reasonably priced for individual personal users who need only 1 user account.

Will O365 let you setup a lot of email aliases? I have probably 250+ aliases I use. That would be a requirement for me if I were looking to change.

A quick search did not yield anything.

Try a free trial: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?L...-US&country=US

I will dig deeper and try to find out - e.g.

https://community.office365.com/en-us/f/148/t/226131 suggests 200 can be added

https://community.office365.com/en-us/f/158/t/199002 suggests 500 is the limit
