Question e-mail set up

hello Runbox help team!

thank you very much for your help in the past and now.

is it possible to have the runbox set up in such a way as
to open in a new browser whenever i click on a "e-mail / write-to-us" link on a web page?

right now, if i click on any of those buttons Juno E-mail opens up because i used to have it as the primary e-mail.

now since i'm happy with runbox i would like to make the first choice for e-mail, and have the runbox ready to
- log in and
- write.

versus
- open a new browser,
- go to favorites,
- log in runbox,
- copy the shortcut from the web page,
- paste it in the "to:" box and
- write

am i asking for too much?

florentin

I am afraid that it is not possible to open runbox in a web browser when you click a mailto link...

No, but you could set up your e-mail client to open up when you click on a link -- and have it display your @runbox.com address as the "from" address.

If you don't already have an e-mail client -- you might want to check out this poll before purchasing one . . .

Rich to the rescue! Sorry I can't test this myself (and we are a tad frazzled at the moment), but it looks very cool! We actually have some links like that in our help section, where you can click on the support address and get runbox compose page, IF you have logged in.

Thumbs up

Rich,
that's EXACTLY what i needed,
no frills, no forgotten settings, nothing you don't need,
just plain human logic (as opposed to computer logic).

Liz, i'm sorry, but Rich is the best!

by the way is he working for runB?
then they should pay him accordingly.

Rich,
THANK YOU !
THANK YOU !
THANK YOU !

May you be blessed with a summer in Hawaii
- or maybe you prefer Seychelles!

a happy runB customer

Wow ... I wasn't quite expecting such a response but I'm glad it's what you needed.

Hawaii or Seychelles will do ... just as long as it's during winter here in the Chicago area!
