I'm a tad late also, but Happy Thanksgiving to those who recognize the holiday. And good luck to those who dare to go out shopping tomorrow morning. There's nothing being offered that's valuable enough for me to stand in freezing temps for a few hours.

Nope...me either. I have errands to do, but I"m doing things like taking advantage of a weekday off to go to the Motor Vehicle bureau..what fun, huh? I worked in retail for years and HAD to be there on Black Friday. Never again!

I had no idea the motor vehicle departments were open today. But I bet you're picking the best day out of the entire year to go. I'm guessing most folks will either (1) be out shopping or (2) be home hiding from those who are out shopping.

I am not going to go shopping tomorrow. Last year I went to bestbuy at 6 o'clock in the morning and guess what, hundreds of people are already there... and it is freezing... The store opens at 7am, but by 6:50 the crowd is already out of control, so they have to call 6 police cars to keep the line. It is also the longest checkout I ever had. I waited one and a half hour...
