Hover?
Lots of mentions of Hover in various threads, but not much in the way of reviews of their email service. Anyone here using Hover on a regular basis? Pricing looks reasonable at $20 for 10GB and $29 with 1TB of storage, which has to be a deal assuming their upload/download speeds are decent. Being part of a big player, Tucows, I imagine they are pretty reliable and won't be folding overnight. How's their webmail? IMAP reliability?

My reading of Hover pages makes me think they do not provide a self-standing email service. Hovers' mail is an addition to a domain purchased from Hover.
I'm willing to be corrected |

Yes, you would have to figure in the cost of transferring your domain to Hover, but that part of their service also looks quite good and seems to get good reviews for the most part. Not the cheapest domain service or email service, but they appear to offer robust customer support with real human beings, which is worth something.

Nothing special, I don't suggest you to pay for it.
Tucows has a lot of resellers for both domain registration and email service. If you see the MX RR are pointed to hostedemail.com domain, then it's powered by Tucows. I have used this service for a long time, no special impression about it. BTW: the account I owned is @UK2.net, now closed by the provider. |

Just curious, what other email services are powered by Tucows/OpenSRS?
