Edison mail bug shows strangers' email
Apparently Edison rolled out an update with a bug that shared other peoples' email with you. They've pulled the update. https://www.engadget.com/edison-mail...035511688.html

After reading that I’d be interested to know how they define a data breach.

Change your passwords on any email accounts being accessed via Edison! And if you delete the app be sure to revoke access to your other accounts like Gmail or Outlook.com. |

I’ve been loking for an alternative to Edison that runs on iOS. I know there are a few: Spark, Airmail, Outlook for example.
What are the pros and cons, especially from a security/privacy perspective? I don’t really see why my passwords shouldn’t stay on my device. Why does Edison even have them on their servers? |
