Importing from AOL?

I can't import mail from AOL—I get an authentication error when using the IMAP importer, including the suggestion to contact the provider to see if they are blocking connections from FastMail. Does anyone have ideas for how to accomplish this?

(I would use my desktop mail app to copy the mail over. However, for some reason it will only copy one sub-folder at a time, no matter how many I select, and there are dozens and dozens of sub-folders—too easy to miss one.)

Ensure that the Fastmail IMAP importer is being told to use the server export.imap.aol.com.
