Ok, it's not moving for me.
The writing at the top of the page says the same as at the bottom. Well, that's what I've just been told by a Japanese student. |

Glory to Akiyoshi! The will of the many is subject to the will of Akiyoshi! His command is my wish! --K (Err: It does move for me, if you shift your look from the middle-top to middle-bottom row of dots..) |

Kander,....I set as desktop background for right now,and even though it looks cool....it is still not moving!! Even with 15 of them, I set the other one as desktop background yesterday--that is neat too...I love switching around my desktop background--admittantly, it is more difficult to read one's icons for these two but it is lots of fun!! Susan.

Things such as brightness affect illusions a lot.
One illusion you can try out is if you have something easily portable with a bright pinpoint source of light (such as an LED) on it somewhere; wave it in front of your eyes in very dimly lit conditions, and the light will appear to be out-of-sync with the rest of the item! (Pity calculators don't have LED displays anymore, this illusion worked well with those...) |

I noticed something 'weird'ish with the refresh rate of my alarmclock... when I put my fan in front of it, I can see it 'blinking' between two sets of lines (the lines that compose the numbers), every second or so. My guess is that it alternates those two sets between On and Off, and that my fan's blades block out one half of it, slowly runs out of sync, and then shows the other half, syncs out again, and back to the original set. This one had me kinda weirded out when I first saw it...

Onehting that should be noted about these optical illusions is that some can actually cause fits
Perhaps that's why the "pukey" green is not liked by the majority of voters ...it's not hurting the eyes, but the brain. (I'm being serious) |

Thanks Fiona, but I don't have a problem getting rid of them. I was just saying when I use it as a desktop the icons are hard to see. Thanks anyway! I am sure the link you gave will come in handy for someone!
Teacher: I can see that. One of my friends with Epilepsy cannot go into a bar with strobe lights as she can have a fit, so I can see the correlation. Susan. |

Optical illusions scare me. My eyes... They betray me... The brightness... The impossibility... The unbelieving emotions... The melo-drama...
Oh well... At least it doesn't try to eat me... Like SOME things... *Looks at hamster* *cough* Lolipop *cough* |
