e-mail listservers

I've been using free e-mail listservers for a few years. I have a subscription list of about a thousand people, and send out about a dozen campaigns each month. I started with MailChimp, which was nice until last year they decided to disallow scheduling for free users. I switched to others, which were all pretty crappy, many with spam-blocked IPs. Finally landed on MailerLite, which is EXCELLENT. Their free support for a month cleaned up some initial issues, and have had no problems with it since. Other impressions?

No matter who you use, how do you stop a complaint (from any one of your recipients) that something they forgot they signed-up for is spam, from having the provider close your account?

IME this is a particularly high risk when recipients are old & begin to lose their memory.
