Homemade macaroni & cheese was NOT a fave of mine growing up. Scalloped potatoes was another of my-not faves. Not showing up for supper and not eating it were not options.
I had a peanut butter sandwich (fresh bread) last night for bedtime snack ... mmmmm good. No jam or jelly added.

We buy 30 loaves of whole wheat bread every three weeks and put it in our freezer...I buy them directly from the bakery and she gives me good deals...it is cheaper this way and saves me having to run out for bread all the time... Susan.

Having late nights, Susan?

I find that breads smell nicer in a bakery than it taste.... which is why I don't really eat them...

My kids (now grown) loved PB&J sandwiches, but ours were always on wheat bread! We fed our kids lots of the same stuff we were eating from an early age so they were always the strange kids that liked things like lox and bagels with cream cheese, smoked fish, hot peppers, hot sauce on lots of stuff, lobsters, clams raw or cooked, etc. My wife once stopped at a farm stand that had hot peppers for sale, and the farmer was so impressed that my kids liked them he gave them a little tour of the farm and showed them the peppers you can't even touch!

I absolutely love PB&J sandwiches. I could eat them for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I saw a grinder once in a supermarket that you just pour (shelled) peanuts in and peanut butter would come out. I plan on getting a grinder like that for myself.

Love'em, favorite is with cherry preserves and super crunchy peanut butter. A sloppy eat but oh so good. Yeah I load it up. Have some bread with the peanut butter and jelly.
