outlook.com webmail and live.com webmail same sign in page?
I have a poor memory, suddenly I realized
that Hotmail renamed as outlook.com webmail had same log in or sign in page as live.com okay it is very logical but my live.com was remembered by Firefox while my outlook.com failed to get into the FF database of sign ins I just mention it here in case others get as surprised as I got wanting to sign in to my outlook.com webmail but ended up in Live.com without realizing it. I didn't even know what password I had or even that I had a live.com account I can not trust my memory obviously. One big reason I wanted to renew my activity on outlook.com are that they have Skype instead of old Messenger. Now I know almost nothing about Skype but a lot of neighbors use it for to keep contact with relatives in USA from Sweden. I have a distant cousin in Chicago living near the big lake there. Sadly he don't like my too naive style. I don't blame him at all I also get annoyed and irritated on ADD persons that are way too impulsive and unruly Last edited by drew : 20 Dec 2013 at 06:21 AM. Hotmail, MSN.com, Live.com, and Outlook.com will all forward to login.live.com when you log in. If you had your browser remember your password for any of the above domains, it's perfectly safe to tell your browser to use the same password on login.live.com.
Skype is still in the middle of their transition to Microsoft. You can log in with your old Skype account or your new Microsoft account. |

Thanks kijinbear
Yes I had a skype account way back in 1999 to 2003 if I remember. I exchanged small talks with a guy in Pennsylvania we where interested in same religion. He had none to talk to where he lived. An odd small religion. But we are not supposed to talk such on the forum so see it as a side remark only. Don't ask me about it. Yes it is practical for them to use same sign in page. Being as naive as I am I got a little surprised. No big deal |
