I can’t change themes either (pobox account). In my remembering it has never been possible to change themes in the app. Only in the (desktop) web client.

It's just the screen of the actual log-in screen that is changed by the themes under "Policy".
If you never see the log in screen because you use a shortcut straight to your Inbox, as I do, then you won't see the changed theme.

Notifications?

I can’t yet discover the purpose of the notification screen in Settings - General. It’s empty with only a save button (IOS app)

Do you have notificatins enabled for the FastMail app in the iOS settings? I think the FM app only offers notifications when they are available.

Odd... Still don't have it. Samsung Note 8. Uninstalled, reinstalled, joined Beta, etc. Still, nothing. Last updated date says Aug 29.

My Samsung Tablet also says Last updated Aug 29.

If I look at the Google App using the same google account, using a browser on my desktop, it shows updated Jan 10 2019. If I look at installed devices, however, it shows that I don't have any "eligible devices" for it to install. My Note 8 and tablet are grayed out.

They must have a Phablet and Tablet version that are different than a standard phone version...

I don't have fastmail anymore, but viewed those two documents and the play store screenshots. It looks good, but there are no shots of settings or a contact.

I notice it's 4MB and requires android 5, compared to the original 20MB version that included a browser library. Should consume less resources if your device has 1GB ram.

I uninstalled and reinstalled, and now have the new interface. Strange since I was previously on the beta build.

I had the same issue. I resolved it by removing the Fastmail app, then going to the iOS app store and reinstalling a fresh copy. The Notifications screen then appeared. Two days ago I told Neil at Fastmail about this issue and the fix I discovered. I also previously had the beta build. I only saw this bug on my iPhone -- my iPad worked without reinstalling the app.

I love this update. This is a great improvement. Thank you.

I did notice one bug. if I am in a web page and I click on an email address, it opens the FastMail app, but it does not start a new email with that email address in the to line.

Having to constantly re-enter email address & P/W

I got the new app on my Samsung Note 8 a couple of days ago.

It is infuriating that it won't keep one signed on, even if one hasn't logged off it signs you off, and one has to constantly re-enter your email address & P/W.

Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

It was on my iPad. Fixed with a reinstall. Thanks.
