Question for you-FM Account Renewal
Hello,
As I approach my first full year with FM, I will most likely be renewing my FM Account sometime in the near future for another year. My Question: Can money in your FM account pool be used for renewing an account? OR Is money in the FM account pool only good for purchasing extra storage space etc? Also, is money in your FM Account pool used up first-before using a credit card? Assuming, I add money to my FM account pool, how do I go about renewing my FM account when the time comes-What is the procedure? PS. I am trying to keep my FM credit card transactions to a minimum since my credit card company charges a foreign transaction fee. Thanks for any help with this issue. Some time ago I used money in the pool for an upgrade (Member->Full). So at least at that time, money in the pool could be used to buy anything from FM, not only extra storage.
I hope the same is true now. |

I recently downgraded from more than half-used Enhanced to a new 1 year Full and I had $6 in my pool and they were counted towards the total price for the upgrade, so those $6 made up for the remaining part of a new Full subscription for 1 year so my visa was charged $0.
They'll show you everything before the charge actually occurs, so don't worry. |

I believe that's the only way you can renew. IIRC, whenever I've renewed, two transactions took place: When I did the online "purchase", my card was charged for the amount of the renewal and my pool was credited with that amount. Then, on the actual renewal date, my account pool was debited by the cost of the renewal and my account was renewed.
