Question email hosting that still good in 2015 and ready for 2016

hello, and thank you i found this forum. i habe a question about email hosting.

i have my own domain for my own web page and primary for my email.

i've used google app (free on), outlook (free one), and now for only option for free one is zoho.

now I'm considering paid service, because my zoho mail have problem lately and very often. at least my email will come after 5 minutes (fastes) usually 1hour or not come at all.

i read about runbox, polarismail, etc

which email host that still reliable for now, with fewest down time.

PS: i only need 2 mailbox for now (1 for me , one for my wife), can have multiple alias, and 2 domain. i interested in rackspace ($2/month) but it have 10 mailboxes minimum policy.

i read some reviews in this site but looks like from 1 year ago.

thank you for your kindness

Polarismail, Fastmail, Runbox, etc. Most the providers you read about here will do great for what you need.

I would suggest to open a trial account with Fastmail and also with Runbox (these are both good reliable companies) and then pick the one you like the best.

It would not hurt to test out Polarismail, too. Also very reliable and reasonably priced.

Also if location of the servers can help to determine what is best, Fastmail servers are based in USA, NY, Polarismail in Canada, while Runbox in Norway. Speedwise, Fastmail is still very gast when connecting from Norway and other parts of Europe.
