http://word-of-mouth.org/ ?
anyone know about this site:
http://word-of-mouth.org/ They "take reports" on you and then alert you to them. They seem to charge you to see them. Seems like a scheme to me, but someone else may know something. SNOPES knows this: http://66.165.133.65/computer/internet/wordofmouth.asp (and, when the search offered in the mail was executed, another mail was sent fropm [email protected]> to identify that a search had been done.) According to a NANA* search, this is the same kind of scam as FreeSpeechStore (that is, the victim is spammed with a claim that someone else has filed a "report" on him/her, but to read this "report" costs money); they're also virtually identical in that they're promoted by spamming, thus not worth using even in the extremely unlikely event that the "reports" are genuine...

What appears to be a third scam operation of similar nature is somethingawful.com — they've recently been blocked by SPEWS (one of the major anti-spam organisations), and retaliated by flooding NANAE with offensive posts, as a result of which they have (of course) ended up in even more blocklists...
