dav problem - folder does not exist

Hi All,
I am usually pretty good with configuring stuff, but when I tried to access my files by adding a network place, https://dav.messagingengine.com/username.fmgirl.com got me a folder does not exist error.

Is there something I need to do prior to this with my web access to my files?

Thanks.
CML

It seems strange that you cannot login using DAV at all CML.

I am using Linux at the moment but will switch to XP and try a DAV login myself.

I have switched to XP and am able to login just fine.

I am using my full email address to login: emailaddress at fastmail.fm + my regular password.

I don't think you have to do anything at all to enable login CML but am not 100 % certain. Possibly someone else can help? Are you using your full email address as your username?

I just checked in my NetDrive configuration and found the base URL I am using looks like:
Code:
https://dav.messagingengine.com/username.domain.tld/files/
Try adding "/files/" (without quotes, of course) and see if that helps.

Is there any way to "log out" of DAV? I have more than one Fastmail account. Once I access DAV on one account, I can't access the others (unless I use http: on one and https: on the other). Every time I go to https://dav.messagingengine.com, it immediately goes to the previously accessed DAV account, without prompting me for the username/password (after logging in once). I tried to not cache the username/password.

Using https://dav.messagingengine.com/user2.fmdomain.xxx fails with a "404 not found" error.

Bill,
If you're using NetDrive, you can right click it's tray-icon. One of the menu items will be whatever name you gave your connection to FM, and will have a fly-out menu with a 'disconnect' item on it.

I can't help much with a NetworkPlaces connection of the type Jeremy described. I tried it once and thought it came up short compared to NetDrive.
