K9 had bugs with Fastmail, now using K-@
FWIW - I used K9 on my Android phone for some time to access my Fastmail account. Suddenly I couldn't see all of my old/read messages in my Fastmail Inbox. I would refresh K9 and it would give an accurate message count (about 80) but would only show the same few messages each time.
I couldn't find anything on this forum (which no longer has a link from Fastmail) about similar problems, so I tried the free K-@ email app. It had no problems displaying the messages and so far is working fine. NOTE: There were some comments that K-@ didn't support Exchange. I'm not an Exchange user, but the latest release of K-@ has Exchange support. |

Mobile email clients have a lot of options on how many, and which, messages to show because of limited storage, did you check this? You may want to look at the options K-@ has for this or it may happen again.

Adrian,
All I know is that K9 used to work and then it didn't. I checked and there was a recent update to K9 just prior to this. In any event, so far, I prefer K-@'s interface and functionality. |

There are a lot of functions I'd like to see in K-9 but so far it is the best of the limited options I see. I'm now using the Alpha release of K-9... Works pretty good. |

Alpha releases:
https://github.com/k9mail/k-9/releases And there is a google plus community for K-9 as well... https://plus.google.com/communities/...41058741937099 One of the best pieces of news is that K-9 is probably getting a new icon.... https://code.google.com/p/k9mail/issues/detail?id=6500 |

Here are several K-9 images that will explain things.
Knowing the origin of the icon might give it the respect it deserves! |
