While not sure if his relatives will be checking this topic, I express my sincere condolences to his relatives and friends.

Very sad to hear of the passing of drew.
I used to frequent these forums under a different name up to about a year ago and had many chats with drew who was a kind and gentle man and always ready to help others.
I will miss drew and the forums will not be the same without his sometimes witty posts.

RIP drew it was good to know you, until we meet again mate.

Sad news indeed. I interacted with him here and on a linux forum. A fine fellow indeed.

I've searched a couple times over the last year and more wondering where he went.

My condolences to his family. He touched many of us online and will not be forgotten.

I fondly remember Drew (EMD usernames "drew", "trew", "nooby", "fmnewbee" and at least one other which even he could no longer remember); although his command of English wasn't always very good (but was vastly better than my command of Swedish could ever be), he always came across as intelligent, witty and charismatic.

To paraphrase the late Terry Pratchett, "He is not truly dead whose name is still spoken".
