Angry My e-mail still down

I've been getting this message for the past three days now:

The account you are trying to login to is in the process of being recovered from a disk failure and is currently unavailable. This process will take around a day. Please see the Fastmail status blog for more details and updates. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Is anyone else's account still out of service?

Sure. Mine is still not available. One of my accounts is on server 3. Another is on server 4 which was out of service for several days in November 2005, but is working during this current outage.

Mine's still out. I've switched my domain's MX records, but I still have a backlog for the past couple of days at FM. Sigh....

Yep, mine's still unavailable as well. For almost 3 days now. Personally I don't think we'll get all our emails back, they must be having big problems to take this long. Also, I'm really dissapointed in the way they communicate about this.

Does server 4 still exist? I thought it was replaced by or assimilated into the replicated set-up.

During the past few outages, my account was inaccessible for about that same length of time, and all of my mail was restored with no problem (quite a few messages, too). I wouldn't fret too much about losing messages, although of course it's possible I guess. I'd suggest too that from now on you backup your emails locally, if you don't do that already.

That's what I thought a couple of days ago; while I don't demand hourly updates, having them a little more frequently would be helpful (the latest one I see on the status blog is about 16.5 hours ago, as I write this). I like FastMail's features too much to switch, but I am going to have to spend some time figuring out a better way to manage my mail.

Mine too is still down. Not even the web interface is available. (I'm a Full member with multi-year commitment to FM.)

Yeah, but us on server 3 haven't had access to our mails for 3 days now.

I'm an enhanced customer with no email (web or IMAP) for 3 days. I also can't use my WebDAV drive.

yes, I'm in the same boat: no webmail, no nothing -- last status blog entry still reading 01.19, so there've been no updates for nearly 20hrs -- my disappointment level has now moved up to 'enhanced', which, curiously, matches my subscription level.

I wish I were on server 4. I'm an Enhanced subscriber, whose account resides on server 3.
