Given the not so professional website that in theory should promote their product, I'm afraid this may be another service where the owners don't care that much anymore and just let the service be for those already using it. But hopefully they'll respond to your email and prove this impression wrong. For the sake of a neat domainname, I'd consider a @safe-mail.be (one of the three domains they have, next to safe-mail.nl and safe-mail.eu) address only if the service is going to survive in the long haul. And I feel a bit sceptic about that when looking at their website...

I in fact don't care to pay for them 50 EUR/once for a premium account.
But the mailbox size is 100MB, I even can't believe...
My G suite account has unlimited space which I have used about 50 TB!

You get what you pay for. After famous issue with safe-mail.net few years ago I migrated to paid account in runbox.com. I still maintain my free safe-mail.net account just in case but I migrated all my registrations/login out of safe-mail.

I notice they have this on thier front page now

"We are updating our infrastructure. Safe-mail will be unavailable during Friday and Saturday, December 1-2 2023. ."

I hope it doesnt get worse!
