Outlook 2013 not searching attachment content?

Big mistake i made with Outlook 2013 acquisition!
Not only does it not offer preview of mail attachments (like 2010), but it doesn't search attachment content either.

GMail searches attachment content but if you have more than one file you have to search all files (no highlight to point to which file - perhaps there's an extension for that?).

Copernic Desktop seems to be the only viable option but at $50, i think i'll pass.

Any other options?
